Training Resources

The Georgia State University Foundation provides training to university staff that require access to one or more of the Foundation's data systems. These systems include Financial Edge, Web Invoicing, and Raiser's Edge.

In order to gain access to one of these systems, all new users must fill out both the New User Account Request form and the Database Confidentiality Statement. In addition, you will need to contact your local technical support staff to install the application(s) onto your workstation.

Training Requirements

All new users will be required to attend a one-hour basic navigation training session.  These sessions are typically one-on-one and are held in room 549 on the 5th floor of 1 Park Place.

Additional Training

In addition to basic navigation, training sessions may also be provided to any user upon request or recommendation from a supervisor.  Training topics may include, but are not limited to:

  • Reports Generation
  • Queries
  • NetCommunity
  • Events Processing
  • Membership Processing
  • Special Interest Topics
  • Ad-Hoc Policies and Procedures
