Giving Opportunities - Parents Fund

We are proud to introduce you to the Georgia State University Parents Fund

Through the Parents Fund, parents and partners of Georgia State students have an opportunity to give directly to programs and initiatives that affect their student’s experience – not in the distant future, but today.

Your contributions to the Parents Fund make a difference to the Georgia State student population starting right now – enhancing programs that engage parents and families, building student leadership, increasing student service opportunities, and creating traditions that you and your student will always remember with Panther Pride.

Parent and Family Programs

Gifts to the Parents Fund are used to keep families engaged with their Georgia State student in ways that are reassuring and supportive without compromising the new student’s responsibility and independence. From expanding Family Weekend to supporting the efforts of the Georgia State University Parents Association, the direct results of your generous gift will give more parents and families even more reasons to become involved with this dynamic metropolitan campus.

Why is Georgia State University asking for your support through the Parents Fund?Despite the fact that Georgia State is a public institution of higher learning, like state schools all over the country, we derive only a portion of our operating budget from tuition, fees, and tax dollars. So much of what’s new and exciting at Georgia State has been made possible only by donations from our faculty, staff, alumni and friends.

No matter the size of the contribution, whether small or large, all gifts make a difference and yours will, too.

Private giving often makes the difference between a good university and a great one. So please, make a contribution to our Parents Fund.  When everyone does their part, great things happen.
